Here at THIA, we typically deal with tiny houses. However, when a big name like Habitat for Humanity ReStore wants to join forces, we are all over it! We truly couldn’t be more proud to welcome their New Orleans, Louisiana branch to our team as a THIA commercial member!
You’ve heard of Habitat for Humanity, right? They are a non-governmental, non-profit company that has been working to solve the housing crisis for more than four decades! Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity has been building, preserving, and rehabilitating homes all across the country.
Reusing and Rebuilding
So what are Habitat ReStores? They are independently owned stores operated by local Habitat for Humanity branches. They specialize in saving household items and building materials from the landfill that they then sell to the public for an affordable price. So basically, they save the planet while allowing you to make your house beautiful for less money. Cool, right?!
