What do you mean there’s a non-profit that helps youth, seniors, working families, and veterans find affordable housing in a way that’s socially and environmentally responsible??! Cool!
This was our response when we first heard about Rebuilding Green. So you can imagine our excitement to officially announce that they have joined us as a THIA commercial member! We are honored!
"rebuilding yesterday and tomorrow, today"
Rebuilding Green started out with a mission to protect the environment, but over the years, they realized that protecting Earth meant protecting its inhabitants too. That’s why they have since expanded their mission to create attainable housing opportunities for some of California’s most at-risk groups.
Some days the team is rehabilitating structures, and other days they are building tiny home communities or advocating for legal changes to our current housing systems. Whatever they are up to, though, they are creating powerful and lasting change.
