Summary

A tiny house is a small residential dwelling of 400 sq. ft. or less in floor area, excluding the loft.  Tiny house construction requires the use of One-and-Two-Family Dwelling Building Code unless an exception is otherwise stated in Appendix Q.  Tiny houses need to be on a permanent foundation.
