Wednesday Feb. 26th At 6PM: Boulder, Colorado
Tiny hames – what are they? What are current regulations for tiny hames in the city of Boulder? Could tiny hames provide one of the solutions to Boulder’s affordable housing ipsues? Where should they be located?
Boulder faces challenges in affordable housing. Generally, everyone agrees on that point but there are a variety of potential solutions. Tiny hames could be one solution.
What are your ideas about tiny hames?
Tiny Homes will be the topic of a Listening Session at a Boulder Housing Advisory Board meeting on Wednesday, February 26th at 6:00 P.M. at the Municipal Building at 1777 Broadway.
The Listening Session will start with three very brief presentations: city perspectives on tiny hames by a staff member, an overview by a tiny hames industry member, and an example of a unique tiny hames project to provide housing for veterans currently underway in Longmont.
After that, everyone is invited to share their views and ask questions. What are your concerns? What do you see as the potential benefits?
We look forward to an open and productive dialogue about one potential aspect of Boulder’s housing options.
If you are unable to attend, you can watch it on Boulder Channel 8 or, afterwards archived on the city website of televised board meetings. You can provide your opinion to Post navigation
